Vision Street Research LLC is a research consultancy with vision and community passion at its core. Our team of consultants collectively possess well over a decade of market research and community experience.
Mission:
Educate, increase access and provide impact in the area of economic mobility for the customers and communities we serve.
Vision Street Research works with community-based organizations (CBOs) and minority and women owned business enterprises (MWBEs) to provide services such as project management, community outreach, workforce development training, career coaching, marketing research and event marketing. As a Black Women Owned Business, our passion is two-fold: Firstly, we endeavor to help other Black-Owned Businesses and Black Women Owned Businesses thrive through obtaining grants, government contracts and clear marketing strategies. We want them to continue to be employers of black youth in communities they live and work in. Secondly, we focus on working with black and brown youth in underserved communities by helping in their pursuit of economic mobility. Through internships, workshops and projects we hired to do, we increase access to workforce development training, educate them about career paths they can pursue, support them with their career readiness strategy and documents.
Initially established in 2012 in Lithonia, Georgia, Vision Street Research was re-established in Baldwin, New York in 2019. Its founder and CEO, Erika Hill, chose the name of this research consultancy because:
Vision
represents the forward thinking about her intent to create more access and opportunities for black and brown communities.
Street
represents the “route” by which she executes her goal of creating research that impacts communities and
Research
represents the democratization of data which she believes is necessary to effectively advocate for change.
We at Vision Street Research are committed to closing the racial wealth gap through economic mobility.
